A room for up to 14, and how to size the crab for a table.
Quick answer
The Tyrwhitt Road flagship has a VIP room that seats up to 14 and is pet-friendly. Book through the reservations page or the hotline, and pre-order your crab at least a day ahead. For corporate, charity or bulk enquiries, email marketing@chickenpie.sg or hello@chickenpie.sg. We do not publish a minimum spend for the room, so ask when you book.
The VIP room
The kitchen’s menu page says the Tyrwhitt Road flagship has a VIP room for up to 14 diners, and that the room is pet-friendly. It is the right choice for a family dinner, a celebration or a small team meal around a crab or two.
We have not published a minimum spend, a room fee or a booking window, because we have not seen one. Ask when you reserve a table or call the hotline on 6993 3333.
Sizing the order for a group
Crab is a shared dish, but each crab is one animal, so the arithmetic is lumpy. Use this as a starting point.

These are our suggestions, not the kitchen’s rules. Prices as of October 2026: Large $73.80, XL $88.80, XL+ $128.80, and the sets are $58.80 to $88.80. The menu lists everything.
Order a day ahead for whole crab, and three hours ahead for sets. For several crabs, ask the hotline whether the kitchen can set them aside, because same-day availability at the counter depends on the day’s crab.
Mixing styles
A table of six does well with one soup and one dry dish, so that people with different tastes each have something. Pair the signature Crab Bee Hoon Soup with the Black Pepper Crab Bee Hoon, and add a cheese crab only if everyone can eat dairy. Check dietary needs first: the dishes contain shellfish, the soup contains cooking wine, and the kitchen is not Halal-certified.
